Why Knowledge?
In most industries, but especially in mortgage, having mortgage knowledge and experience matters the most. JCL is led by a 20 year mortgage veteran who is respected for his knowledge in the industry, so much so that he is the only TREC licensed trainer to teach realtors how mortgage rates work and how markets affect mortgages. But we also have a 20 year military veteran who understands VA loans and veteran life. As well as seasoned investors who are now loan officers. Knowledge builds trust and eliminates mistakes.
Why Service?
We also believe that providing great service is non negotiable. The minimum real estate agents expect from loan officers is communication. Well we believe in doing the minimum to the max. Proactive communication is key, phone calls instead of end of day emails. Proper explanations so that everyone is on the same page instead of a vague short answer. Completing tasks immediately instead of waiting till the week of closing. Clear to close early instead of discovering last minute surprises. Great service is a mindset, not a system.
Why Value?
We are mortgage brokers and we operate efficiently, so our costs are lower, and that shows up in your rate. But we say value because we don't have low rates as though that's all we are. Knowing the answers saves time, providing excellent service closes loans more quickly, doing the loan correctly the first time and having fewer hands touching the file lowers costs.
